The third edition of the Middle East International Medical Tourism Conference and fair took place in Dubai on December 4th and 5th, 2025, with a distinguished attendance of over 150 specialists, experts, businesspeople, and guests from more than 20 countries across the Middle East, the Gulf region, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
This diversity created a vibrant and interactive atmosphere at the conference, resulting in remarkable achievements on all fronts.
On the first day in the morning session , 11 experts in the fields of health, medical tourism, and healthcare investment delivered valuable lectures,These experts came from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Italy, Austria, Germany, India, Tunisia, Egypt, Montenegro, and the host country, the United Arab Emirates, to share their experiences and insights in a way that greatly enriched the attendees.
On the evening session of the first day, the conference hall witnessed over 100 business meetings between more than 40 companies specializing in tourism. Medical tourism companies, hospitals, and resorts from over 16 countries discussed opportunities for collaboration and partnership within the medical tourism sector.
The aim was to strengthen cooperation in guiding patients and addressing their needs throughout their treatment journeys, including logistical support, pre-treatment arrangements, and post-treatment follow-up.
These meetings were a highlight of the event and culminated in the signing of cooperation agreements between numerous companies and hospitals, as well as among the companies themselves.

The first workshop, presented by international expert Vivek Shukla, president of (Surge growth partners),focused on several important topics, most notably how to establish a medical tourism company,, or a medical tourism department within hospitals, how to manage and operate it, as well as the best ways to serve international patients on the one hand, and to develop the business of these companies and hospitals in the field of medical tourism on the other.
The second training workshop was provided by Professor Kai Elling, a distinguished ex-professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, and he focused on the concept of advanced care before and after treatment, as well as the concept of convalescence and longevity, He devoted an important part of it to a new concept of personalized healthcare within what is called medical hotel services.
Dr. Olfa Aouni, a doctor and expert specializing in cosmetic medicine and a graduate of one of the most prestigious British universities, concluded the training workshops with an important lecture on how to deal with those interested in cosmetic medicine within the context of medical tourism, providing simplified information about this field and the concepts and terms that the medical facilitator must be familiar with in order to know how to address those interested in cosmetic medicine and serve them in the best possible ways.
The exhibition hall witnessed particular activity and vibrancy on the second day of the event. Participants expressed their great satisfaction and happiness with their participation, confirming that it achieved what they hoped for and lived up to expectations. Mr. Lotfi Al-Khalifi, CEO of the Gulf Events Group – the company organizing the Middle East International Medical Tourism Conference and Exhibition – expressed his complete satisfaction with the level of organization and his immense happiness with the event's results. He emphasized that the event's success stemmed from his personal commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the participants.
